Re: Will Bilic walk?
Bilic is a fucking wanker. YET ANOTHER transfer window where we don't buy a RB. YET ANOTHER game with a midfielder at RB. YET ANOTHER goal coming from RB position.

Fuck off Bilic you clueless stubborn cunt

Mind you that's a good goal from Carroll

Any Cunt who drops Lanzini from that side should fuck off immediately after handing in the team sheet.

Yeah the board is shit, but they don't pick the team.

According to the daves bilic was happy with his current squad as is. We all been screaming for cover at right back for months. Now a week after the window closes we don't have a fit one AGAIN.

Re: Will Bilic walk?
I don't think the board will want another poor season. There is no way they will fill the stadium for games. The attendances this year have been astounding given the problems. We've already lost the club talisman that was worth the entrance fee alone and without some significant moves and transfers I think they'll find support waning and negative PR rising.

A respected manager and some rated players people want to see are definitely needed.

>>> ...the club will think we need to show we mean business and not accept mediocrity any longer.

There's a weird mix of similar emotions around many supporters I think, that also reflects this. There seems to be a great desire for progress to be made, without wanting the tough decisions that might have to be made to make that progress.

Re: Will Bilic walk?
I think with this stadium move and us supposedly being a bigger club now I think will reflect in Sullivan's thinking, I don't see this as a similar situation we had with Allardyce where they were prepard to let him run down his contract, I can see Bilic going in the summer as I think rightly or wrongly the club will think we need to show we mean business and not accept mediocrity any longer.

Indeed spot on as most & bang average is what he is.

Win lose, draw, today makes no difference whatsoever & not change the above.

There's an ironic mistake.

Re: Will Bilic walk?
The evidence is there for us all to see so it amazes me that Bilic is getting so much support, if daft polls are anything to go by.
The stories from ex players saying that training is not good enough nor physically challenging enough may explain some of what we have witnessed this season. I am watching the Chelsea v Arsenal game right now and I'm a little bemused as I see Moses play a major role playing down Chelsea's right wing. What we saw in rare glimpses while he was at West Ham seems to be a regular occurance. Fuck! He even runs back and defends!

Here is a perfect example what a good coach can get out of his player and what an average coach can achieve with the same player.

It's obvious that it's time for ability to move on but who should replace him? A good question but I am sure Sullivan's DIY approach he will fuck it up.

Re: Will Bilic walk?
Home defeats are what kills managers. Especially massive embarrassing tonkings which we have endured.
If we bump along to the end of the season and get similar performances v the likes of Spurs and Chelsea I think there will be some wobbles over the summer.
May get away with it because of the new stadium excuse but we will need to buy well and a poor start to next season would bring it to a head.
Owners don't like being humiliated at home and prefer to shoot the manager than admit any blame.

Re: Will Bilic walk?
I think he'll be gone at the end of the season, if not before
His days are bound to be numbered after all the humiliating heavy home defeats, not just by City, but by much lesser clubs
A couple of narrow home defeats would be bad enough but we have been utterly thrashed several times & the performances have been woeful.
I can't remember a single worthy effort in the City game
Our inability to press or for players to find a team mate with every pass, makes it look like they've been training in the pub all week!
No wonder the spirit is good
I like Bilic, but maybe he's just too nice?

well said Jake. we've won five out of the last eight yet people still want a change. I hate being dominated twice by man city at home in such a short space of time but I also realise that they can do that to any opposition on their day and man for man are a much stronger team. it does wind me up at times the lack of intensity from certain players but I said on the match thread I think we need a different captain. nothing personal towards noble but it would then allow Slaven to try different things in the middle of the park. we were a couple of yards behind the city players, part of that due to the system but part of it due to noble's mobility. I'd love Kouyate alongside Obiang tomorrow but I'm not see that will happen

Re: Will Bilic walk?
bilic walk away?. never as he's not a chickenshit coward like that bentnosed twat who walked away from hull when they most needed him and now is doing such a great job at villa (NOT ).

Bilic may not be the best of coaches, but i'd rather have him at the helm than chancers like Bruce.
at 65 yrs old, i've seen the good, bad and downright ugly (dowie) at WH over the years.
Being west Ham, i expect our team to have a go at the opposition, hover around mid table with the occasional tickle in the cups. that's not a lot to expect imo.
i want west bham to turn up and get in the faces of whoever they're playing.
it's a fact that neither man city, arsenal and most other teams dont like anyone in their faces, so why aren't we doing just that?. tighten up at the back and just go for them, because there's nothing to lose by trying. i want carrol to bully them as he's got the size and build for it and whatever you might think of him, he's no coward, which is probably why he's injured so often.

West ham will never win the prem in my lifetime, but the least they can do is to get up and at them like leicester did last season. you never know, it just might be the answer.

Re: Will Bilic walk?

Up against superior opposition?

You mean like Spurs away who we competed admirably against and should have beaten? Man Utd and Liverpool away where we got creditable draws? What about Chelsea at home in the League Cup or Man Utd at home where we performed brilliantly against the odds with 10 men?

We've crumbled in a couple of games and you can rightly criticise Bilic for that, but let's put things into context. It's been a difficult season but we're still sitting mid table and have put in as many good performances as bad.

Is your level expectation that we are competitive against every team? If that's the case I refer to my previous point, namely that Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal etc. have all been beaten comprehensibly this season, and we are nowhere near their level.

If you think that this season has been as poor as to warrant Bilic being sacked (especially given what he achieved last season), then I'd suggest your expectations aren't reasonable in any way.

You'd be calling for Ranieri's head if you were a Leicester fan, wouldn't you?

I have never approached a game where i thought the opposition were 'superior'.

Humans play sport, therefore we can all fuck up, individually and collectively and win or lose games we shouldn't.

Never, ever, think the other side is superior.
